In the "Templates" section you can not only choose and upload templates, but also control template versions
If an existing template is changed and uploaded to your CMS it is uploaded as a new version that can be approved, rejected or deleted.
To view all versions you need to go to "Templates" section and in "My templates" tab click on a template. The version control menu will appear. In this menu you can check by whom and when the version was uploaded, what is it's status and in which campaigns it is used.
Menu elements
1. Status:
There is 4 version statuses:
“In use” – template version is used in a campaign. You can check what campaigns this version is used in by clicking a "down arrow" button next to a status.
“Approved” – version is approved and can be used in campaigns.
“On approval” - version is uploaded to platform but is not yet approved by authorised users*.
“Rejected” - template version was rejected by user.
2. Uploaded by
This column displays an email of user that has uploaded a template;
3. Upload date:
This column displays date when template version was uploaded to CMS;
4. Approved by:
This column displays an email of user that has approved template version for use in campaigns;
5. Approval date:
This column displays date when template version was approved for use.
6. Actions:
In this column you can select an action to perform with a version: appove, reject and use in campaign.
7. File:
In this column you can choose to view demo of this template version, download it or delete it from CMS.
Choosing template version during campaign creation
You can choose what template version you want to use in your campaign. In template selection window press "three dots" context menu button, click "select version" button and then choose approved version of a template that you want to use.
NB: if a template is chosen using old method, that is clicking on a template card and then clicking "Select", the latest approved version will be selected for this campaign.
*To give users rights to approve template versions you need to check the "Approving versions" checkbox in the group rights menu. To remove these rights - uncheck the checkbox.
