There are two ways to update Addreality Player 2 on an Android device
Remote update
In the section "Devices" on your account schedule an event "Update player" you can do it for a single device or for a folder of devices.
NB! One of these requirements should be met:
On Android 6 Addreality Player 2 app shoud have administrator priveleges assigned to it;
On Android 4.4.2/5/6/7/8 Addreality Player 2 app should have SU priveleges assigned to it
Otherwise update command will not be displayed in device properties. This limitation is introduced because it is impossible to automate confirmation of app installation. When updating an app without SU or Admin priveleges user confirmation dialogue will be displayed.
Manual update
If the Player is in playback mode you should escape to main menu by either scheduling an event or escaping directly from Player using hotkeys if "Disable hotkeys" option was not enabled.
In player menu select "Update application" option
If Android 6 with admin priveleges or Android 4.4.2/5/6/7/8 with SU priveleges assigned to Addreality Player 2 app is used the update will be executed without further actions required. After finishing the download app will restart to install an update, after that app will launch and resume playback.
Otherwise there is no way to automate app update confirmation, when installing an update pop-up dialogue will appear requiring user to confirm installation.
